Growing up in Bloomfield Hills, Carly threw herself into as many sports as possible. After committing to soccer, she received All-State honors during her time at Detroit Country Day and got recruited to play in the NCAA Division I for the University of Pennsylvania, where she also studied business.

A Michigan girl at heart, Carly transferred to U of M-Ann Arbor after her sophomore year, where she also shifted academic gears: Embracing her inner artist, in 2016, sheearned a B.A. in Film, TV & Media production and a minor in writing while running an independent videography business and playing venues as a self-taught singer-songwriter.

During the fall of 2017, after struggling in her adult life to form a positive relationship with nutrition and exercise, Carly walked into a CrossFit gym and found her solution: By using quality food to fuel training rooted in diverse functional movements performed at an elevated intensity level, Carly became reacquainted with the dormant athlete within.

Mind, body and spirit transformed by prioritizing fitness, now, Carly wants to pass it on.

A NASM Certified Personal Trainer with a CrossFit Level 1 certificate, Carly also serves as Rebel’s Front of House manager, grateful for the chance to fully utilize her diverse skillset—from coaching classes to writing our blog posts & weekly client newsletter to shooting & editing video content for our Instagram account and YouTube channel.
